So I went to a Jeep show on June 4th hosted by Teraflex. They had a raffle with like $20k in give aways from different companys. I ending up entering the raffle I paid $5 bucks for 7 tickets and won 4 fox racing 2.0 IFP shocks. It worked out perfect because I need to change out my bilstein shocks. I have never ran these shocks and they are pretty new on the market, they retail any where from $500-600. :D The shock is valved to my liking and can be rebuilt and revalved if needed.
So I was thinking I really like my bilstein 5150's and I can get them for around $400.
Do I run the fox shocks just because, I did get them for $5 bucks :D
Or do I sale them and get some bilstein 5150's again:confused:

Has anyone every ran these shocks? If so how are they holding up to off road/DD. I did have a problem with one of my bilsteins pulling out of the mount and I ended up welding it back toghether.

Thanks for any help.

I was going to say I'll gladly test them out and answer your questions on them for ya!! LOL... but if it were me in that situation... I would def. stick with the Fox setup... but that is just my $.02

I was really planning on keeping them but I just don't know how they will handle DD/offroad. the bilsteins ride nice, has anyone ever had a pair of the fox shocks?

put those fox shocks on and be happy, your gonna love the way your rig rides. plus you won't be spending 400 bucks on shocks so you now have 400 to spend on something else for the jeep.

you can give them to me, I will test them for you and no shipping costs ;) lol

How bad are your old shocks by the way ? Don;t throw them away yet ;) I could use them temporary if I lift 2 more inches ;)

Dang I wish I could have gone to the show as well....

Wife and kids are gone for 10 days ;) when is a good time to come see you and have this long promised beer ?

Keep your current shocks in your closet. Run the new ones that you just won.

If the new ones suck, have your current ones rebuilt... then sell the ones you just won.
