What can be used to make friction pads for between the leaf springs?

Maybe some thick rubber like conveyor belt. This is some solid stuff.

That was recommended before but I gotta somehow get it into thin slices and bolt it on. I was thinking of just using some kind of adhesive, maybe silicone or epoxy.

I plan to add another OME add a leaf to my existing OME spring pack. I already have one AAL on it and it has no friction pads so adding two will definately make the spring squeak and scrape. My buddy who can hear says the AAL in there now makes some minor noises on big bumps.

Hey jugbutt, nice name, but where do you get something like a conveyor belt?
