I was about to go out and buy some paint today to fix the gray ugly unpainted "grey" body side molding on my wife's 1999 XJ when I ran across a how to on Cherokee Forum (http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/no-paint-door-trim-restoration-89044/).

Step One: Get a Jeep with really nasty faded plastic side molding.

Step Two: Get the right tools for the job!

Step Three: Find someone else to do the work.

Step Four: Praise help as needed to keep them motivated!

Step Five: Slop on the goop that makes it pretty and try and get the $$$ shot before dark!

I need to do both the plastic and the paint... If only you could do a write up on how to get your wife to do all of the work then it might get done (I don't have older childre). Actually, you are going to have to personalize it for me because my wife is 8 months pregnant.
Thanks!
