I completed my skid project by adding a gas tank skid to my already installed front, t-case, and oil pan skids. I paid about $210 shipped for this skid and it's pretty beefy. It's 1/8" thick and very strong. I have no fear of this skid giving out ;)

What ya get:

Had some clearance issue with midas' $!@!ed up exhaust work. Monroe tore it all out and redid it. Midas had the mufler on BACKWARDS :brickwall:

The transmission skid... what is that bolted to on the front of the skid?

The transmission skid... what is that bolted to on the front of the skid?

Look to the left of of the splined portion of the front driveshaft. You will see two control arm bolts, the lower bolt for the lower control arms and the upper in the old CA spot which now holds the drop brackets. Attached to that upper bolt is a bracket that goes up around the driveshaft, back down, and across to the other side's bolt. It's a 1/4" bracket that supports the front part of the skid. Normally there are only two bolts holding the rear part to the crossmember but i added another two, bolts and nuts, instead of self-tapping bolts.

You can see the front bracket in that picture.
