View Full Version : wheres the srs light in my jeep

just took jeep in for a warrant of fitness....failed on no srs light :crazy:
Pittman arm ball joint (again) suggestions for something here or just go to 29" tires:bang:.....guy was a jerk ...didn't pick up on bigger tires, or no sway bar...measured lift and said it has got higher than what it says on cert plate :bang:...i give up .....time for a ricer:headbag:

is that the air bag light? i would have told him the tires make it bigger

my 95 doesnt have a light for the air bag and it never did

has a airbag,,,,but no light when you turn ignition on...went around to my mates who does my warrents (but cant at mo , no building) and he laughed...said that never had them in my year , model jeep

oh am gonna plus failed me on steering stabilizer ball joint....dude cant even name the parts....and again my mate pointed out a loose bolt to or on steering box

O maybe you should have told him you having trouble getting your foot caught in the steering wheel ever since they moved the dimmer switch from the floor.:D

sounds like a severe case of ignorance. take your owners manual and treat them like a child. go through the book page by page, explaining each item to them. When they get indignate just say "obviously you are ignorant of the facts about jeeps so I must educate you so that you can perform your job intelligently." "don't get mad at me, I'm trying to help you learn what you need to know for the position you now hold."

Don't forget to point to the items they have no clue about and say "see this, It means my unit is stock, as is from the factory."

as for the height, once again you will have to educate the children in adult clothing. It's unfortunate that governments hire people that don't have the education required for the position they apply for or should require.

well after talking to my mate who does warrents today, its going to his place and he is going to go over the whole thing....then we will know what we are fixing............i know now with the bigger tires im chewing through tie rod ends and such...yall want to throw up better mods for steering , front end of my heep......cheers

well well on the road again.....all legal, sounds like is wasn't much as rick called and he had done it all,,,will post what was done when i pick it up sometime.......
