We're not big on rules here. I don't like the idea of saying :welcome: now here is what you CAN and CAN'T do here!

I've been chatting with people and a few were under the impression that this was an "R" rated site. I mean you have to agree that you are 18 years or older to see posts, chat etc...

Well I've always tried to skirt that line between adult and family. So Matt put it best the other day calling it PG13, we even put it in the title of the chatbox so people would have a better understanding.

So we're all adults here, but we want to try to stay family friendly, at least as family friendly as broadcast television (don't get me started on the viagra commercials).

Please don't gauge the level of acceptability by the way I act. I've had a few moderators here poke me with a stick. If you have any question about a picture or a post, ask a moderator. We have several, so you may get as many answers, but on the plus side if you get in trouble you'll take a moderator with you!

I'll address this issue again. If you are member on this site it is YOUR responsibility to keep people UNDER 18 from viewing the site. This is an adult site and there is no telling what you are going to see here.

You CAN complain but push come to shove I, Matt, or the moderators is going to remind you that non-adults are not welcome here. You need to take what ever measures you need to keep kids from seeing things you don't want them to see here on xjtalk.

So basically try to keep language, content and images to what you would see on broadcast television and you should be fine.

I agree Tony. Sometimes yeah we all for the most part have let the rules kinda slip by us. I hope I speak for most of us when I say I apologize for the outbursts and will make sure we watch our mouths and remarks alot better from now on.

I like rules, they help us to know our boundries. We understand where we stand and how far we can go without getting shot down.

I agree, rules are good. In a perfect situation we don't need rules because we govern ourselves by a set of understood rules. But unfortunately we don't all have that same set of internal guidelines. That is where the rules come in handy. Rules that include things like no porn, like we currently have and no bashing are good ones. I would add another, just the golden rule. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
