If you add a leaf to your rear springs chances are the stock spring clamps will be toast. So make your own out of brackets from the local hardware store.

You might find that clamp slipping up the pack. You can weld it to the end of any leaf with a tack weld. Ask your local welding shop about the stick to do it with. I have done it and it works slick. Here the brand is Alstate Super 275. Not sure what it would be down under.

They also make a fold over style clamp that works Alot better . It actually clamps around the entire spring and are real inexpensive

We used to use stuff called bandit strap when I was a sparky. Stainless steel with a buckle. I think that would work.

They are less than $2 a pop retail. I bought afew because I didn't think RC provided me with enough. The ones I bought were the same exact as the ones that came with my RC kit.

I found them locally (columbus, ohio) at a commercial truck spring shop. XJ leaf's are 2.5". Any 2.5 clamp *should* work.

That's a nice solution!! I just went and got a set of 6 clamps that payless4x was talking about for under 12 bucks, but before I went and got those, this would have been a nice solution :)
