After a lot of searching, talking, wheeling and dealing I have a new addition to the family! Last Monday I became the proud owner of another Suzuki Samurai, this one's a Soft Top! My first Soft Top, i'm super excited with this one! It's something different!

I drove to Salem, VA which is about a hour from Lynchburg (where I am) to pick it up. When I got there it was covered in mud. :bang: ( I hate that shit ) The previous owner was a young 17 year old who had just lost his license and I guess wanted to take it out for a last Hoo-Rahh. He was wanting $1400 for it at first, talked down to 1200, then 900, then 800, settled on $750. . . I handed him $600 and drove it all the way back to Lynchburg without a problem one !!! :shocker: I got this for $600!!! So, I bought it Monday, as some may know I was trying to sell my little car and did Tuesday and got 600 for it. So I paid nothing for this little Zuk, I pretty much just traded for it!!! Good deal IMO!

Pics of the new addition.
Minus the mud, this was what it looked like after a hour and a half of cleaning.

Then off with the doors!!!

I can't leave this thing alone! Next on the list is taking the lift shackles off, removing the 31's and putting the 235's back on it w/ the stock shackles. In the mean time, i'm looking for a Bikini top (for the Zuk, not me :p) and a wind jammer for it.

Thanks for viewing!

That hardtop was worth more than what you paid for the whole Zuk

Thanks! Yeah, I couldn't believe I got it for 600 and drove it home without any problems. I drive it every day now, it zips through traffic pretty well until I get to the highway. . . LOL then it maxes out around 50mph with the 31s on it. :D

Thanks, I usually NEVER get deals like this. This one just happen to work out in my favor!

Just driving it around is fun! Hahaa! But no, no real fun yet. I drove it through my ditch in my yard but that's no real fun either.... (It's been done a million times )

About the most fun I've had with this one so far would be taking the top off, modifying the hinges to take the doors off and making some mirror relocation brackets so when I take the doors of it's still legal.

Thanks! You're right, as far as this one goes it's just fun to drive. I'm not gonna really do anything w/ this one but drive it and the occasional trail ride here and there. It's/ they are just fun little rides to have!

I took some family pics yesterday while mowing the lawn, I had to move them so I snapped a few quick pics. . .

I have the three vehicles I have wanted forever! I have my 01 Jeep Cherokee, I've always loved the Cherokee and it's capabilities! I have both a Tin Top and a Soft Top Samurai, both 87s! I'm a fairly content fella right now. . .

It's not to late to get some help! I have already called dr phil and he sez there's hope! Na I had sammys and they go down single path trails like a dirt bike. My Dad's friend has a two stoke sammy, I would still have one if it wasn't for the insurance cost. Que cute.
