I'm glad I have 4.5" of lift....I made it without a prob!!!! It was obvious when the first guy went in his TJ with 5" that this one wasn't making it!!! LOL!!

Very nice.... Yeah I am thinking he could of used more skinny pedal and made it up and over... just a matter of what he might have broken in the process... But either way... I bet he'll be working on getting a bigger lift now..

A friend went through hell to get him to lift it at all!!!!! 2".....is all he did!!! I'm sure he is thinking about a bigger lift....time will tell!!!!!

Was it just because he didn't want to lift it, or just didn't want to spend the money on it??

OH yeah for sure... I was only going to install the 4.5" kit I had, and then go higher at a later date... but after talking to some people that did that, or were in the process of doing that... I decided to just go to the final height I was looking at going too, instead of being mad at myself for not doing it the first go round!!

I actually was looking for an xj with a 4.5 inch and found this one....at a decent price!!!! It took over a year to find one in the area!!!!

Nothing wrong with having 4.5" of lift... I just knew that I was going to want to go to 6.5" final lift height with mine after riding in a XJ in Germany that had 6.5" of lift w/ 35's... so I already knew how it drove, wheeled and looked with the 6.5" of lift and knew that is what I was going to want when I built my XJ...
