I've been wanting to check in to that as well. I didn't write any of this, so it is something I have to look into, but still it is a great idea.

I vote for one as well. It sure is a time saver.

I don't mind being the joke for the day, but I seriously don't know.
What's a Nav bar? :coffee: http://i562.photobucket.com/albums/ss68/DLHTURBO/wheelchair.gif

At the top of the page it shows a break down of the sub-forum you are in and it shows your screen-name, PMs, and last login. That is the nav bar

I just use "page up" button on my keyboard. Two or three taps and it's there. Alot faster than scrolling up or using the mouse wheel.

I just scroll up, not a problem for me, but it would be kind of nice

See, you Can teach an ol' dog new tricks. I'm about to wear out this little wheel thing on this mouse. At the eye doctors the other day, I noticed their comp. had a mouse with a ball on it instead of a wheel. What's your opinion on that? http://i562.photobucket.com/albums/ss68/DLHTURBO/wheelchair.gif

The same as a mouse but you don't move it about. The ball is the same as the mouse movement. It still has buttons to click just as the mouse does. It is called a Track-Ball.
We used to have a computer at work with one but I was slow to adapt. Your ability may be different.

I had a trackball mouse in college. It was the best mouse IMO. No movement needed, just spin the ball. It doesn't work well with someone who eats and uses the computer at the same time though. :rotfl2:

I know it's not dirty under the ball, I did just take it out and clean in there about a week ago when the ball would not move anymore :headbag:

Been there. I had to do that on a weekly basis back when I was in college and liftin. I would be eating 6-8 meals a day and on the computer about 6 hours daily so it got pretty messy inside there :)

Yes, I haven't found a custom that does this, so basically it means that I have to figure out how to program it. That will take some time, if ever.

Hey I found it! You should see the "default" navigation bar at the bottom of the page. You'll only see it on thread pages. I've been wanting this so I can click on the NEW POSTS after reading the thread I am on. I'm so excited! :cheerleader:
