I'm curious how much noise they will make with just one connection point.

I'll let you know how they go guys. I doubt I will here much with the bighorns humming. If the rain holds off I might get them on for a run to the gold coast to watch the anzac footy test

Be a month or so till i put these on. Busted my other tail light so a rear bar just moved to the top of the list.

Nope, can't here any rattle. Need to put some weld on the male part to make a better fit.

Mabey an optical illusion but they look very close to the tire in the pics, I would be concerend about catching them between an obstical and the tire during reverse. Just an observation and you can PM when my set is done lol lol

Thats as far back as I could get them. Don't forget they are disconnects so you take em off when you are wheeling

I realize they come off for serious wheeling , mabey a terrian differance from there to here, but I do have things just in my yard that could do it. Snow , inclines , tree stumps, rocks ect ect. I didn't take into location into consideration. I still think they look great and a job well done !!!

Not to knock the way you did it, but looking at the picture gave me an idea, what if you were to use the same set up,but instead of mounting to the unirail , used a flat plate and went to the fuel tank/hitch mount, you might be able to move them back further and still maintain the original design. would you hit the springs or the exhaust ? hmmm, oh well just a thought.

Yeah they do work good just as they are.....Tho with mine, I was lucky enough to have spring over pins & 8mm bolts with hard plastic knobs (welded a nut over a whole on the external tube) so it clamps the tube & stops it from rattling:pray:

While I think of it JC, Greeno has made us bash covers for our rear diffs(I've undercoated yours) made out of some spare covers we had here.....I could've done with a front one when you helped dig me off that hump on saturday (thanks again there Mate, was wondering how you carry all that recovery gear, coz I've never thought of carrying a cold chisel to break up rocks before)

A cold chisel is always in the tool box along with fence wire and cable ties. Comes from wheeling zooks.
