I don't have a clue cantab but my girlfriend has a yota and I do as well and anytime I need to find out something I go to toyotanation.com. Lots of tech stuff and much larger than xjtalk. But regaurding your situation dose seem wierd that backin in to a post would cause that. Have fun man you can join that forum I'm sure you would be a hit there too!

What makes you think the O2 sensor is bad Wayne?

If the O2 sensor was bad it would be throwing a code. Don't see how backing into a post would damage it.

02 sensor is on exhaust or cat....it took a good hit, had over pit today no kink in pipe ....thought when o2 went bad it could stuff up fuel consumption...took sensor out seems ok...gave car a service, new oils and plugs filter and shit....will see what happens....cheers
