I know there aren't many VA members here but maybe someone else may be interested. . . Here we go...

Name : Jeremy

Location : Lynchburg, VA.

Contact : Please post in this thread or pm me for my cell number.

Item For Sale : I have for sale my 1988 Plymouth Horizon. Title clean and in hand.

Price : Asking $600.00 obo (just trying to get back what was put into it)

Reason For Selling : I bought this car with the intentions of building a little track car out of it but it seems it's not going to work out that way. Money is needed to help fuel another fire and something had to go. This is the vehicle I have the least invested in and therefore it's up for grabs.

Condition Of Vehicle :
Exterior 7.5 / 10 - due to fading and a few small dents.
Interior 9/ 10 - not perfect but really close.

The Horizon is actually in great condition. The outside has a few small dings and dents but NOTHING major or gaudy. The paint is fading in some spots and the roof of it is starting to show some surface rust. As far as rust goes, that is the only spot where there is any rust at all. Rockers, fenders, rear quarters, hood, hatch, inner fenders all look great, rear nozzle and wiper work, front wipers work and are new, no broken glass, windshield and rear windshield are excellent, no cracks.

The interior looks as if the car was barely ever driven, all the knobs, switches still work, radio and speakers work, AC blows around 32* (it will freeze you) Heat is hot, rear defrost still works, rear nozzle and wiper work, front wipers work and are new, the seats have no rips or tears front or back, no cigarette burns on anything, dash and panels are all in excellent condition, all the carpet is clean, no stains, seat belts are there and work properly.

The Horizon still has a good VA inspection sticker on it and will have no issues getting another when it's time. This would make a great daily or project car.

Mileage on the car reads 159,181(actual mileage), Yhe car has been parked since Wed. when I decided to put it up for sale. (4-27-11) Mileage will go up with people testing it and me driving it out occasionally so it's not sitting.

Issues Known With Car : The only things I've found with the car are. . .
-Driver side door handle broke this winter.
-Rear passenger door handle also broke this winter. (Still intact and works though)
-No key for rear hatch.
-Needs rear shocks/ struts
-problem with the horn pad, removed the metal plate and put the pad back on. (plate will need to be replaced)
-Valve cover leaks

All this information is everything I can think of about the little car, if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will try my best to answer it for you. I feel I represented the car to the best of my knowledge.

That's what my plans were for it. I was wanting to 'clone' the GLH but just not into cars enough to follow through with it.

Plus I found another Samurai that I want. I gotta get rid of something before I buy something else...

WOW that thing is really RED. I'm surprised Tony doesn't jump at it. I would buy it but would cost another $600 to get to Wisconsin.

LOL! Yeah, it's red alright!

Actually it's a bit darker in person than it looks in the pics.

Sweet ride, I could do a round headlight conversion! ;)

If we were closer, I'd snag it.......I need a beater ride.

I actually thought about doing a round headlight conversion on this. I had to replace the grill and just went with the squares.

I honestly cant believe I still have this. I just went to fill the Jeep up and the pump clicked off at $68.74 and I stuffed $70 in it.
