Has anyone ran a 15x10" rim on their XJ? I just got a great deal on a set of d-window steelies they are 4" BS and 5-4.5 lug pattern and I'm going to run a 35"x14.5"-16" tire when I get the Axles ready to hold them. But, for now I was going to throw some 33"x12.5" SSR's on them. I just wanted to know how they worked out cause I have always went with 15x8's.

I love my 15x10's 3.75" backspace, and no rub no time. You reversed that right? 15x10 would look cool though. rofl

I prefer a 15x8 with a 12.5" wide tire because the sidewall is more "fat" and protects the wheels better. 15x10 on a 12.5" is fine if you want to run that. It's all personal opinion. My friend went from 16x8 with 35x12.5's to a 10" wide wheel so his tires were straight and flat. That's what he prefers. Either will work. But if you go with the 14.5" wide tire, use the 10's.
