We loaded up the Mighty Mite to go to get a radiator fitted up for it and take a side trip to Surplus City to look for cool stuff

On the way in, we saw this Mighty Mite. The owner is having them finish the restoration on it. I offered to sell a few parts for this.

Underneath all this cool stuff is a Weasel powered by a Ford flathead V8

Here is a rare 1941 Willys GPW with the flat iron grill. I could make one of those in my shop easily.

Can't camp in the yard, but very near. They have a paint ball course and mud pit and rock area by the Feather River, where you can camp nearby. They hold periodic off road, races there too

I would also love to have the 41 GPW too. They had enough stuff there to restore it. Including a fully rebuilt engine sitting in front of the Weasel

How are their prices?

There are some good shots of Mighty Mites in the movie Escape From The Planet of the Apes.....(1972?)

They will negotiate. We found a very rare door frame for a Mighty Might that they wanted $145 for. But he BSed a little with them and got it for $45. I think they will deal much better in person.

Hey Steve that weasel was actually owned by a guy in town here, he traded it for a Gamagoat (6x6). Don't forget they also hold the largest military vehicle show, swapmeet, and camp out around.

The trick is that you send her shopping at one of our large malls first, then you go shopping.

I don't know, but the wife wanted me to buy it. She figured nobody would give her any attitude with that 80 mm gun pointed at them.:p

That is what I do. I drop the wife off at Arden Fair and go about a 1/4 mi to 4 wheel parts. Works like a charm.
