Yep I had 2 on my 74 ford courier's roll bar. I made it one of the first prerunners around when I was in HS. F100 coils up front and shackels in the rear with hijackers air shocks. I would go on but it's what gave the idea for the poll.

First I would like to thank Tony for this site and allowing this silly poll. Lizard ,payless and I gave out too many hints and after that the answers started coming in correct. But 69% correct aint bad and we all now know who's as old as dirt!

Yeah in the 70's they were the only real offroad lghts. I had the rectangulars on my roll bar. It's funny but you don't see many roll bars anymore on trucks. Back in the day everybody had roll bars and lights on them.

Maybe. My grandmother had one in the 70's and it was named the cortina. I think it was made by opel of germany. Hey I got 2 aussie dogs and I used to like a band called the lime spiders from downunder. Aussie bands were big here in late 70's to early 80's.

They were Escorts in NZ and were made in England. My brother had one. I saw the video of ya Aussie mates:D I had a Cortina of the same error a 1969 model. They were different.
