OK guys, thought I would start a thread here for my wheeling pics. I'm in Brisbane Australia and have bee wheeling for 8 years. This is my first Jeep and I love it. The mods you can do, and the parts you can get from the States make it a constant build :D:D

This is a pic from my favourite wheeling spot called the Glasshouse Mountains. Note I have stock suspension and 245x75x16 Maxxis Bighorns.

The lift laws here are under review, and have been for years. They are trying to get national laws for the whole country.

Currently we are allowed 50mm spring lift and 50mm body lift. No chassis on an XJ so I guess that means 50mm suspension only.:sad0147:

We can only have 15mm bigger tyres.:yack:

So I have two sets of tyres, one for wheeling and one for daily driving.

Here is the Jeep flexing after a 4" lift done today. Total cost $50. Got given 2" front springs, got 2" spacers ($50) and add a leaf from an old spring pack.

That trail looks awesome, as does the performance of the stock setup... Nice flex on that new 4" lift as well..

Thanks. The tyres scrubed most on the top of the front guard with the 245's (31's) and stock suspension. I also trimed the rear guard above the mud flap, which is not there lol

JJcatt what a awesome place to go wheelin. Was there any koala or wombats in those bushes or any of the worlds most deadliest snakes. Did you stop for a coopers or a xxx? The fosters here is made by molson of canada. We don't get kb lager any more we called it the oil can when you could get it. That might be a term kids won't get "oil can" like "dial this number" is now. Great photos thanks for sharing.

Most animals here are nocturnal so ya dont see em. Cept snakes. Had an x who was reading a book and a snake slithered over her foot. I was digging saphires and heard the scream. We call holes in the track wombat holes, but wombats are more down south.

That would be fun. We have red star garnets in Idaho. Always wanted to go. I will someday.
