My granddaughter, who has been diligently saving her money had her heart set on this to match her Dad's Mighty Mite

She was really getting into it. This one was orange, but was going to end up being purple and pink. Maybe we could call it Barbie Mite.

Unfortunately it ended up just a little out of her price range. Or maybe I should say fortunately. Saved me a trip to Texas to pick it up:poke:

That is much closer to you :)Steve. Payson is just a few miles north of Phoenix and in very beautiful country. I worked there for several months a few years back. Most Arizona stuff is pretty rustfree too.

Now I am talking about Payson in UT (around Salt Lake City)
Anyway that is not a Mighty mite ;)

Oh then it may be even closer. I know it is a Willys and not a Mighty Mite. I am old but can still tell them apart. I just missed the Ut designation. I was so intent on how well it was looking.

True, it would be closer. But there are old Jeep pickups locally. We looked at a couple before Paul bought his YJ, which was a real score. Low milage and in good condition. And of course the color matched my XJ

I think we will stick with the Mighty Mite idea if possible. It would be kind of neat to show up to the CA 4WD Assoc. Winter Fest with three generations of Mighty Mites. Might make it into a national magazine. Something Paul has wanted to do for a long time.
