I view something like this, pretty much any full sized lifted truck as a great high water vehicle, with minimal off pavement.

We see some really high water in the Houston area, though not much in recent years, and something like this truck would get you through any of it except the 20 foot deep stuff under some of the under pases.

That blows man! I pulled a chick and her kid out their car on the freeway in stop and go traffic on my way to work when I saw flames dripping under her car. Right after I got her to the side of the freeway it went up in flames. She at first thought I was robbing her she said.

Up in North Texas near Wichita Falls there are several places that have them along the interstate.

Out near my parents' place there is a farm that houses zoo/circus animals periodically. Seen camels, zebras, llamas and they even had a couple of elephants one year.

Hopefully with the statements of the people he told he will be charged and have to pay restitution. Sucks because I live in Florida and its starting to rain a lot now. Gotta drop $600-$700 on new tires now and the ones I had were almost new.

Yea I got tired of waking up to peacocks noise everyday at sunrise, the paint balls were to try to get them away from the house in the morning. It didn't work well. As soon as I shut my bedroom window they would come back.

Sadley a very large smoke Plume from the Chips fire,0% contained and still growing. Smoke as thick as fog every morning even though were about 25 miles from it.It has shut down our wheelin area and just may burn it (High Lakes). If this happen we wont be able to get in there aain for at least 10yrs due to enviromental concerns.As of this am they have spot fires from this fire 2 miles away from it.Here's a local news article on it , note the picture of the smoke plume.

Coffee doesn't take very good. I put cream (half and half) and sugar in mine. Recently switched to Splenda. Also we purchased a single cup coffee machine that make the coffee taste really good.

Now I can have something that tastes really good. It tastes like a desert.

I was on the new car lot at my BMW store when a BUNCH of cops came tearing in onto the new car lot (where people aren't allowed to drive). They all jumped out of their cars and started chasing a dude. Apparently what happened was this dude on a SCOOTER didn't have insurance and he decided to run from the cops. He "scooted" through the BMW lot, scraped a brand new BMW, hopped a curb leading to my Mercedes store next door, figured out he couldn't get over the "pole fence", ditched his scooter, and ran through the Mercedes lot the cop chasing him tripped on the curb and had a face full of dirt. The used car manager (ex-marine and a great guy by the way) saw this happening through the window of his office, took off running as fast as he could through the showroom, ripping off his suit jacket, slammed out the back exit, CHASED THIS DUDE DOWN and did a Superman leap and TACKLED this dude to the dirt! He held him until the cops got there. Oh... where was I when this happened? On the BMW new car lot and I started chasing him too after the cop fell, but I was too far away to even come close. I ran up to the Mercedes showroom to make sure he didn't cut in a side entrance before heading around to the back of the store to see him on the ground ;)

Moral of the story.... don't run from the cops through 2 dealerships on a SCOOTER, and the badass used car manager won't have to tackle your butt!

Yeah, I saw that crap when I left the house. Didn't matter which way I went, I was screwed. I was gonna take a picture for this thread too, but couldn't get a good shot. Apparently what happened was somebody caught somebody breaking into their house and started chasing them. The thieves ran the red light at the intersection and hit another car. 2 people died, but I am unsure if the deceased were the thieves or not.

Sounds like my yard back at the "other" house. They even got the time down to when we fed the cats. Come early morning about ten could be seen heading across the yard. They make some funny noises. Even found two babies inside a wall. Cute at that age too, little masked teddy bears.

Coming home from church tonight I saw a herd of 6 deer off in a field. Glad to still see thing like that here, even though things are becoming more populated out here in the country. Saw a couple of coyotes the other day and a bob cat or two on rare occasions.

As far as the smaller wild life, I am sure there are coons around my place, but I see more armadillos and skunks. Hell I took the dog out early one morning to potty and while I was waiting I heard something in the bushes... figured it was an armadillo until it came running out of the bushes at me. When it was within the light and I realized it was a skunk it was within about 20' or so of me. I left the dog and booked it up the stairs. I guess it didn't realize I was there and it turned around and ran back in the bushes spraying along the way. He kept trying to flank me so I grab the dog and got back inside. Dogs have been sprayed more than once.

Totally agree with Josh. I don't see it as wrong to post it, it would be wrong to want revenge, etc but you didn't do that. If anything you're doing a public service by saying to watch out for him. I know there's several i wish i would had a camera on, just to warn others. Its ones like that that you hear on the news that something bigger happens. What if someone with an attitude like his was beside him that day, might've escalated to a worse level.

I guess I could if it was a little more obvious. What you don't see in the video is him first looking at me in the side rearview and then laughing in the same mirror as he drives off after his failed attempt to intimidate me. That told me that it was on purpose. I think he could argue, even with the video evidence that he was just changing lanes and he didn't see me. No contact was made, so what law was broken?

I'm fine with having a few seconds of video for my trouble. If he had hit me the damage would have been minor and obviously his fault, especially after I played the video for the officer. :D New front bushwackers (they're only sold in pairs) perhaps a fender and professionally painted of course. Saw this on my way to work yesterday. I know to some this isn't much, but here where we don't have indoor plumbing ( :rolleyes: ) you don't often see exotic super cars. I can count on one hand the number of cars I have seen, a couple of Lamborghinis and a couple Ferraris. Occasionally I will see a couple Viper GTS, but those aren't exotic and not sure I consider them super cars.

I see different things everyday, as I drive a truck through all 48 states. There are bad drivers everywhere. I have been driving in the right lane and had cops even, cut across 2 or 3 lanes of traffic to exit right in front of me, so close I had to slam on the brakes! In January my wife rode with me, to south Florida, and along the Tamiami trail she counted over 200 alligators sunning themselves on the bank of the ditch on the north side of the road.

From one of the gas station attendants at the Chevron where I had just fueled up at before making my way home.... I hear him say to one of the other pump jockeys.... "you got the pumps for minute? ...i'm gonna go tow that motorhome thats blocking the intersection!".......
I figured he was going to go jump into a rig that would have actually been capable of doing such a task..... instead I see him back THIS up to it:

Should of stuck around to see if he actually managed to do it... I have seen some Yota's with some gearing that would def help them pull some major weight.. but not sure if it would manage a RV.. LOL

I SHOULD have stayed, prob would have been interesting....I swear that thing was a 4Cyl....didnt sound like a V6....
That would have made it much more interesting.
Of course if Tony would have sent me that dash cam he was talking about....(nudge-nudge-wink-wink) ...I may have had more motivation to stick around....

The boss decided to drive his 91' Limited to work one day(hardly ever does). It is a farm Jeep but it still runs pretty good. The white one is a co-workers and of course mine is the blue one.

Does it have a red head and neck? If so, it's an African Boer Goat. It's a goat sold for meat. I have a bunch of them and also have Kiko's from New Zealand.

I've been hauling US mail quite a bit lately and some of the contractors that deliver it are in some really crappy locations.

This is where I had to deliver this morning. The trailer is 53 feet long and it has to go on a dock door with a wall 70 or so feet in front of that door. So, I get to put about 64 feet of truck and trailer in a 70 foot spot. On top of that, the freaking trailer had to be perfectly centered and square to the dock so the plate would work for the forklift to unload.:bang: That wall is about 7 feet from the end of the hood. What you can't see, is the row of little box trucks on the right side of the trailer, with one parked in the next dock door. It made setting up to get backed in tricky and made an interesting job of trailer backing a little spooky. I didn't want to pay for any sheet metal. I couldn't see the truck on the side while I was backing in there.

I'm 38 years old and have been driving semis since I was 16 on the road and on grandpa's ranch well before that. I've logged a little over 2 million miles now and this was one of the toughest places I've had to get into with the box truck being on my blind side. Oh, and the good news is I get to come back here every morning for a while. I signed a contract to haul it for a while.

Really looking forward to doing this every morning after 10 hours of driving. :rolleyes::cry:
