Call Andy with questions: 704 796 3502 located in Hayesville, NC 28904
I have had this jeep for over a year now here at Ironman4x4fab.com and have just slowly taken my time to use it for product design and measurements. In the process I have ended up with a very well built front suspension setup and many hours of labor that would cost loads more than I am asking for the jeep. It has not been off road since I acquired and began building.
This is the super rare Split window 2 door model that they only made a few of from late 80s into early 90s. The Cherokee has the venerable renix 4.0 FI engine with a 5 speed manual trans.
Here are some specs of the mods done here at Ironman:
6-7 " lift
-35" feirce tires on 17" incubus off road wheels
-skyjacker rear leafs
-AA SYE kit and custom rear drive shaft
-Complete custom front suspension:
-RE front coils/ 2" poly spacers,
-Ironman extra length long arm system (39)" ete +/- welded to frame allowing for stock cross member with laser cut 100A parts.
-Long arms made from 2"x.281 wall DOM with 1.5 threading 6" long for unmatched adjustment. Genuine Currie johnny joints used at frame.
-UCA's are Ironman4x4fab extreme duty uppers with 95 D poly for excellent torsion retension on front axle.
-UCA mounts on axle replaced with Ironman4x4fab.com Poly bushing kit with 95D poly and 1/2" grade 8 hardware.
-Drag link and tie rod machined from 1.25 CR solid with 3/4 16 L/R ends on all ends. 3/4 heims on pass side with adapter setup for high steering.
-Custom Iroman4x4fab.com track bar with double shear bracket modded to match all steering angles.
-RE front shocks.
-New brake rotors and vacuum system extened.
-stainless front brake lines
-locked front differential
-Longer front drive shaft removed for driver comfort as front axle is locked. Drive shaft is included with vehicle. Simple 8 bolt installation required for off-roading.
-Custom front bumper.
200000+ miles on vehicle but trans and t case have been replaced but mileage unknown.
-All added front suspension components are New

OME steering dampener to be installed

I am asking 4900.00 for this jeep I will also consider partial trades for stock Cherokees Grand Cherokees or Comanches, 2 or 4 wheel drive.
The asking price of the vehicle is based on the value of the wheels/tires, and suspension/ drive train work/components and labor involved.
Title in hand.

I will def. throw this out on a few other sites that I am a member on... I have no issues for helping folks out... especially if it gets a larger product line that I can drool over, and hopefully purchase shortly...

Guys we have gotten calls offering to trade boats, utvs, and other 4x4s but we just are not interested in those things. We will trade plus cash for another Cherokee lifted or not as long as it's straight (not wrecked) plus some cash. Somebody has got to have a stocker that's looking to go wheeling!?! I'll be posting more pics of the cherokee soon. Thanks for looking.

Has it been re geared? D30/35 combo? or a D44 or a chry co 8.25? Power or man. doors/windows? Everything work? A/C, heat, all lights, wipers etc? Interior clean, any tears, rips/holes/stains? Why is the front DS removed again?

he said the driveshaft is removed because the front axle is locked.

The front carrier is welded. It is welded properly because I did it for the previous owner about 2 years ago. I had the shaft out for a smoother ride on the road but I am going to put it back in later this week. I am also putting a new vacuum booster and master cylinder tomorrow.

Are you listing this on CL?? I wouldn't imagine it would take any time at all for this thing to sell on there... If only I lived closer and had the money to spare... or heck even just had the money to spare... the trip would be a fun getaway for a bit...

ironmanandy
04-24-2011, 01:38 PM
yep it's on Craig and a bunch of other forums, but all we get are, "yeah I'm coming to look at it on this Friday", then nothing... So come on down bluedragon! or at least say you are then never show up, lol!

bluedragon436
04-24-2011, 01:41 PM
Nah, not even going to lie... since I know I can't afford it I wouldn't even bother to say that I would come down to check it out... I hate when people do that to me...
