Friends,
a 17 year old cousin of my wife decided that life was not worth it anymore. Whatever the reasons, please let's keep her and her family in our prayers.

Police report said it was an accident.... She left a goodbye note, that she broke into her parents bedroom to find the keys of the safe to her father's weapon.

Doesn't change the fact that Megan is not brightening her family day anymore. I pray the Lord that she will find eternal peace.

Apparently she was at a party the night before and some of her mates acknowledge the fact that there was drugs and alcohol at the party. Apparently one of the newest "cool" thing among kids now is to sniif or smoke (IDK) bath salts and these nasty little chemicals are making users totally crazy.

So I will extend my prayers to all of us that are parents. I pray that we can all keep our kids out of harms way, that we do not hesitate to be strong and controlling, yet cool enough to inspire the confidence that they need to talk about their problems before it is too late.

My prayers are with her family and friends that they may find peace through this and for parents everywhere. I have a 13 and 16yr old still at home thankfully they are firmly grounded in the Lord but i still pray for his grace and mercy on them daily.
