Beach Run

Been thinking about going on a beach run. Would like to know who would be intrested in going and when. Also what beach, Crystal beach, San Luis pass, Surfside, Padre. etc etc. I would like to stay a couple nights. So lets here some ideas. And wayne, dont give me no shit about it

Boliver is OK. You want to be at the ferry no later than 9AM or risk long lines.

Either pack food and eat by the surf or eat at a local cafe.

My club goes down there every 4th of July for a day run. We pull lots of people out who get their cars stuck as soon as they drive out on the sand.

One thing, at least on Boliver, it is OK to drive the beach, but as soon as you stop, better have a beach parking tag or risk a fine. No biggie, it is $10.00 for the year, and they can be bought at any stop & rob on the island. Cops would rather you buy a pass than write you a ticket. Yes, they are lax.

A beach run would be fun...I've always wanted to do an overnight type beach run.

I'd need about a month advance to get time off work and set some funds aside.

The wife and I have plans to go but we haven't come up with a firm date for us. But i did get a next month from her :thumbsup:

I took my cherokee to krystal yesterday. About 1000 or so jellyfish washed up on the beach, and I saw a shark/porpus looking thing washed up too. Kinda crazy.
