When lifted Cherokees meet...

We all know how dogs greet each other...its ALMOST like that.

Today, I went down to my local AutoZone and there was KausticCollapse's lifted 2-door. Its not a surprise...he works there. Kaustic is a member of CF for those who don't know.

I parked next to him to get some side-by-side pics when a Red 94 Sport w/4.5" lift rolled into parking lot.
I motioned for them to pull alongside...what a photo-op.

I found out they are members of JeepForum. And only about 2min after making thier aquaintence, one of them walks to the rear of Lil Red and proceeds to crawl under looking at the lift.
Frank (Kaustic) was done working so he came out and met with these young guys and 2min later he was doing the same thing to thiers!

Did I miss the XJ owner's Memo on Proper XJ greeting ettiquette???

After Frank left, I stood there in the parking lot laughing because all I could think about was two dogs greeting each other. Ya know <sniff><sniff>

In the foreground you will see my Lil Red parked next to the other red Sport.
But in the background, you can see Frank (KausticCollapse) leaving.

Here's Lil Red sitting next to a Cherokee that is owned by a young waitress that works at our local restaurant.
Her name is Brittany. Everytime me (or me and the Mrs) stop by, she runs over and acts like a giddy schoolgirl.

As a grown man in my early 40's, this always brings a smile to my face. B ut if the Mrs is with me, I have to automatically ask her how her Cherokee is running...always a good save. Her boyfriend doesn't like it much...tough.

Brits is basically stock with some meaty tires, but she is supposed to be getting the 3" lift from her dad's XJ. Yes, her dad the vol. fireman has a 3" lifted XJ...Ive been trying to get his attention when he passes my house, but to no avail

Finally got the chance to get some better pics of Lil Red and Kaustic (Frank) 2dr.

Snapped these about 1/2hr ago.

I dropped by his work (AutoZone) and personally delivered his set of 2dr aluminum diamond-plate thresholds.

He has a set of HCP A-pillar light mounts, just hasn't gotten the chance to install them.

Lovely! My Brother has a 2k that's dark blue with a small lift and when we park next to each other at church it's a jeep and family reunion. My jeep only goes to church once a month so don't go asking yet, next scheduled visit is 6/28.
I need to chat with Frank and get dimensions for his bumper. I'm selling mine and need to fab up one quick while I save for a JCR off road bumper.

You know from, the rear views it seems that Franks 2 door is not much taller than Lil Red. Now the frontal view is quite different.

Tell Frank we want to know after looking at his rear quarters if his 2 door is truely a 4x4???
