Here's a Napier Precision Products exclusive!!
V2 Heavy Duty Fender Flares for Jeep Cherokee XJ with Folded Rear Quarter Panel

We now have fender flares designed for the popular folded rear quarter panel modification! The first release fits the Jeep Cherokee XJ, 97-01, 4 Door. More versions will be coming along in the next few months.

Here's what we did to make them tougher and better:

The rear fender flare is shorter. Designed to perfectly fit most 97-01, 4 door XJs with the rear quarter panel folded.
Around 30% THICKER than other products. Makes them super tough. I can park my Jeep on them!
Extend out around 3.25". Lines up great with most 10.5" - 12.5" wide tire setups. Less likely to smash into obstacles.
Cut out fender flares. Increases the opening dimensions of the wheel well. (Requires removing a lot of sheet metal.) Bigger opening allows for larger tires, more articulation, and is tough looking.
Blends with the look of the Jeep Cherokee much better. These fender flares even look like they were made just for the Jeep Cherokee XJ!
Paintable. Paint to your favorite color or they can be left plain. Either way, the rigid ABS plastic is easy to take care of!
Helps keep you street legal

Here's some links to our PhotoBucket albums. We don't have quite as many picts of the V2 Fender Flares for the quarter fold but they are off the same design as the fender flares for XJs without the quarter fold. Here's the links:

I think this pic def. shows it will cover the tires just fine... at least that way I won't have any flare issues @ inspection time..

I sure hope not since they would kinda killed the market with a 97+ setup only. There is like 8 million more 96 on down than 97 and up.

nah.. I remember seeing him post somewhere, either on here or another Jeep forum, that they were in the works for the 96- setups... another idea that would be nice... for around that time frame would be the MJ flares..

Thanks for asking about the pre-97 XJ fender flares. ETA is roughly 2 months. We've done a lot of work on the prototype so far, just a lot more to go! We will certainly post up when they are ready.
Thanks,
Doug

Quick note, we're actively working the 2-door model right now. We think it will work with all XJs & of course the MJ but that is still to be determined at this point.

I think the fender curves are different on an MJ, but I may be incorrect.
