I got another XJ!!!!

I got my third XJ today! It is a Black four door '91 I6 Auto for $600. I got it from a good friend that got it last week from a guy that had it break down on him so like a dip shit he started kicking down the side of the jeep Because he was "pissed & did not know what was wrong" Dumbass. Anyway my buddy got it cheap and figured that some one had put a tranny in it and not put lock tight on the torque converter bolts.:smiley-laughing021:So they had backed them selves out over time. so he got the old ones out and put some new ones in with lock tight and it runs GREAT.HAHAHAA:smiley-laughing021:! SO I bought from him for a few hundred more than he got it for and all I have to fix is the paint & body which I happen to know a little about wink wink;);). It needs new doors, front fenders, & driver side rear quarter and a headliner that was taken out to be fixed and never returned. $600 bucks and in a month it will be like new. I will get pics tonight when he delivers it, so you can see what a douche bag that guy was that kicked it.:mad0090:

Maybe you need to pay him a visit. I had a red 91 and it ran good. The engine was blowing a little oil so I slapped another low mileage 4.0L in and remembered to apply some red locktight before the torque converter. Still on the road and my daughter is still driving it.

No I'm going to fix the little stuff left like pass. side window/door, turn signals, various bulbs, oil changes, rear wiper motor, ETC... and then it will be my wifes(that is why I need fenders and stuff cause she wants me to fix the body and re-paint it black). That way I can make the Red one into a beast.

Yea And the guy I got it from is down the road and he has FOUR! So if we do not have it you don't need it! Here are the pics I got 90% of the dents out but you can see the rust on the doors that is why I'm looking for some. The worst rust is on the driver side rear quarter and that will be a cut and weld job. But Mechanically it is in great condition and for $600 you can't beat it.
