Well this new sub-forum hasn't seen a lot of action. I think now would be a good time to use it to express our thoughts and wishes for the "Kiwi's".

Most of us know Wayne (cantab27) from Christchurch, New Zealand, which was devasteded by a severe earthquake yesterday. There is a thread already running on this subject: http://www.xjtalk.com/showthread.php?t=6344 , however I thought this platform could be used for some thoughfull, perhaps spiritual responses.

Give it a go!!

Glad to hear Wayne and his family are ok but sorry to hear how the rest of the city is doing. Thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of the families there and to Wayne and his as well. Mate ya dont know how much you mean to us as a friend,if there's anything we can do dont be afraid to ask Wayne.

As I told Wayne in a PM, He is in my prayers along with his family and the others in his circle of "mates".

I send up prayers for all of NZ daily. I have been offering cedar and sage smoke to creator for good things to come for Christchurch. I have also done the same for my friends and mates that live there and in all NZ. I find myself breaking down into tears occassionally the reason I don't know but I feel great grief when I think of what that land means to me personally, and I don't even live there. Since I joined this site I've met two new mates from NZ and my heart goes out to them both. I have an inkling of the feelings they are having and the lost feeling that accompanies a disaster like this to your community.
