Well I've pretty much narrowed it down to a water pump issue, or possibly a head gasket. My thermostat opens and lets coolant into the bottle, but the coolant doesn't go back down the bottle to the pump. It just keeps adding coolant. Hoping I don't have exhaust blow-by in my coolant causing a bunch of pressure.

Is there water in the oil?

Nope. Looks good. No oil in coolant either. But exhaust blowby is still possible. Going to compression test it after the wife gets home so she can watch my daughter. Looking for info on the coolant system on these engines flow. Someone told me somewhere it's backwards from the norm.

When my 1998 would over heat it would do this. Once it cooled down it would stop pumping out the coolant. My original problem was the blades on the factory water pump, they weren't there. Then it was a leak on the factory radiator, the plastic tanks.

Eventually I resolved the over heating with...

1. Flushed the system very well.
2. 3 core radiator
3. B&M 13k BTU transmission cooler
4. High flow thermostat housing
5. High flow thermostat
6. High flow water pump
7. Big hole in the hood and a cowl induction scoop.

Still runs hot on the highway during the Summer, but doesn't over heat, but I'm not done with it. :D

Lol.... yea I need to fix the problem. I can drive it around and it wont over heat. If I park it at normal temp, the temp goes up to the red and the reservoir starts boiling and spraying out of the pin hole. I want it to run, and to park, all at normal temp :D

Sounds like a fan to me. When your driving at speed your getting enough air through the rad to keep it cool. When your sitting there is no fan to pull the air through. IDK that's the best o can come up with.
