Man I would love to pickup one of these w/ the synthetic line... if only I had the spare money right now, and the winch bumper to mount it too...

I get this feedback/question a lot. I had a local guy building me XJ front bumpers and his 1st few rocked. Got lots of attention, but the costs soared so we couldn't do it anymore. I have his last one built on my wife's XJ. It's darn nice and I wish I had 100 more sitting here to sell. :(

I need to find a source for an inexpensive XJ front winch bumper.

An suggestions???

Yeah I have seen those... have been looking @ either Logan's or JCR Offroad... either way I know I will be picking up one of these winches as soon as I got the spare money for it... even if I have to keep it boxed up for a little bit till I get the bumper to mount it too..

Not bad!

Problem with these type of deals are: The builder/seller is selling them at just enough profit for himself. I need to make a couple nickles in there, so he would have to either sell them to me for a loss or he has to raise his prices so I can resell them for a profit and not compete with him.

BUT: With that said... I will add his site to my list for those of you wanting my winches and an affordable winch bumper to go along with it.

Who knows, maybe I make a winch sale and he makes a bumper sale at the same time? :D

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions! I truly appreciate it. You never know when it will lead to something big for me and them.

Alright... so I have to ask.. since their site doesn't say.... what kind of warranty does their units have??

LOL! Are you asking about the winches or the bumpers?

The winch warranty is the standard 2 year mechanical and 1 year electrical.

I was referring to the winches... wasn't going to jack your thread like that, to ask about the bumpers warranty... LOL... so it has a decent coverage for the warranty... especially if you are using it quite a bit during that 2 years...

 :rotfl2:

I agree about using it "quite a bit" within the warranty. I have customers that don't use their winches after buying them for a long while... then upon first use 2+ years later, they discover that there is an issue.

Yeah that is the one reason I was thinking it would stink to purchase one way before I plan on getting a bumper to mount it on... and thus test it out as well... def. want to make sure it works prior to the 2 year warranty period...

That would be one heck of a "Boy Scout" knot trick to mount your winch to the front of your Jeep XJ with a tree saver. :rotfl2:

I got some duct tape, and zip ties... LOL.. we can make this work... I may have to call McGuyver for backup on the mounting... but hey...

Whoa! I cannot thank you enough!!!

THANKS!

I'm holding my breath that I don't get "the call" in the near future. :rotfl2:

Seriously: I do some hard core 4Wheeling. I don't even think about my winch unless I have to!

There are many tools to help someone get unstuck. IMO: Don't rely on just one tool to get you out of a "stuck" situation when 4Wheeling.
