Awww that bring backs some memories. :D Not a bad one :). I bought a spare axle housing that I trussed, replaced all the joint and bearing, and installed lockers and gears over time before I through it into my rig. I did the same with a xj d44, except the trussing bit. So when both were done, I was locked and ready to go :D Thanks for sharing the videos, thats a good find.

Just be sure to check what torque that axle shaft nut is supposed to be torqued to.
On my '89 it's supposed to be 185ft lbs!! If it's not right your unit bearings WILL wear out very quickly, especially if it's a daily driver.
