Well I had the pleasure of meeting a local xjtalk member this afternoon. kryptonitexj, his father and I met at a local Sam's Club. It was great seeing some of the mods I'd like to do to my Jeep. We spent an hour talking about all the various things we've done, or want to do to our rigs. I was shocked it was an hour! It seemed like 20 minutes, max.

I was able to take some pictures, and I thought it was pretty cool to not only see a couple of modifed XJs side by side, but seeing them with both with xjtalk stickers was really cool.

The next time you see these two rigs together, they'll be offroad, and probably stuck! :rotfl2:

One of us needs to save up for a winch!

Very nice. Glad you guys did the Sam's thing. What did you buy me daddy?
BTW both Jeeps are way too clean in those pics, so I disagree with Melissa not good pics. Jeeps are supposed to be dirty.

It was a pleasure meeting you on Saturday. And yes your right one (Or both) of us need to get a winch.:D I really enjoyed shooting the breeze with you. And by the way your jeep is REALLY Clean and Looks great. And we will wheel as soon as a get a front drive shaft. I did mannage to get my RC extended shackles on after the meeting so now she is sitting a little higher. Man was it hot.:smiley-gen165:

Yeah that was a lot of fun. As xjtalk grows maybe we can find a few more local people to meet up with and look, lie, and talk about our rigs.

I wish everyone was closer there's quite a few characters on here I'd like to see in person.

I need to start focusing on doing things to my XJ like you have done to yours. Mechanical improvements. Of couse some of those were forced on you. :rotfl2:

Well long story short my front bumper was ripped off while being pulled out of the mud(I was Really stuck) and in doing so not only was the bumper totaled but so was my winch (Warn 8000lb) and fog lights.:mad::thumbdown: I sent the bumper back to JCR to be repaired and all it cost me was the shipping to JCR.

But for being in the mud that stuck to cause you to total your bumper, winch and fog lights you deserve

I was thinking about that. I was thinking about waiting a little longer for more people to join. We might get people from Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma to join us too.
