My father-in-law found this CB in his van. It came with the van. It was built in 1990 and has all the controls on the mic. I can not find any info on them... even Cobra's website does not even have a manual for them. Haven't hooked it up yet to see if it works.... neat radio though.

Anyone ever had one?

It has a switch on it that DX and LO.. what is this for?

Not sure if I am going to use it in the XJ or not....

DX means DISTANCE. It's a amateur radio term. So DX or LOW probably has to do with how sensitive the receiver is. In DX mode it will be normal sensitivity, in LOW it won't receive as well. Like if you are driving down the highway and them truckers are close by. LOW will probably make it easier to understand them.

that's a model that truckers loved when it came out. 5 full watts too.
