A few pics from my snow trip last Saturday. Went up in the mountains above Idahna, OR.

Me hillclimbin' a gravel pit at the bottom of the mountain before we went up :driving:

This is probably 4000-5000ft up... buddy's Chevy cuttin' snow... He's driving on about 2 feet of packed snow right there, if you stepped in the fluff it went up past your knee!:eek:

Oh nice, you from OR originally? Yeah at first we were talkin about goin to Snow Peak or Crooked Finger, but there wasn't much snow up there last weekend, so we just went father up. WAY father lol.

Sometime you might try heading up HWY 20 or 22 to Hoodoo. There is a road from the parking lot of the ski area to Big Lake. There is a snow cat that goes in there once a week. It makes a nice two track to the lake. You can go any time no matter how much snow. But don't get off the tracks.
