Every once in awhile while I am surfing the xjtalk board, I'll get an error message and then my computer will automatically abort and shut down xjtalk.

Is it just me and my computer, or is anyone else getting this as well?

If you make note of the specific error number and message, I can look into it's cause.

If it is a problem on your PC, computer, or Internet service provider I probably won't be able to do much to help.

I ran all my goodies and they found nothing, and I am still getting the error message. I will write it down next time like you ask.

Well I ran my cleaner and it detected cookies and I don't want to dump my cookies. They may be peanut butter or chocolate chip and I love those. Besides I never liked tossing my cookies.

You may have to delete your cookies and clear the cache for this to stop.

I think it is just my computer but the message reads

Internet explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.xjtalk.com/member.php?u=8
operation aborted

This can happen if your Internet connection is down, if the xjtalk server is down, the Internet service to the server is down, there's too many connections to the xjtalk server from the Internet, and the list goes on and on.

The server wasn't down. The Internet to the server wasn't down, but all other options are open.

That bot that was slamming the site the other day was opening many connections to the server and slowing response to everyone else. It could have happened again when you got this message.

They use a army of infected PCs to attack a web site. They have many many infected PCs so when I block one of them, or a whole subnet they just switch to another PC or another subnet they have.

It will be a continual battle.
