Okay tomorrow is the day that I get the horse needle thingy in my hip should I:

A) Cry like a baby.
B)Take it like a man and shut up.
C) Just have the hip removed so I don't have to worry about it.

P.S. Is whimpering acceptable or will I definitely lose my man card?

Just the word needle gives me goose bumps, So I would have to probably go with
A

I did the "military line" also. The Bicillin shot was the meanest.

I have an alternative. You could whinney like a horse and kick like crap when they stick it in. That's what my horses always did. I and the wife both carry scars from horse kicking during shots.
BTW you never said why you are getting the shot anyway.

I'd pick "A" and lie to everyone that I did "B".

It's a steroid of some sort.

Okay this is what I am leaning towards, but I have until tomorrow morning to make my final decision.

For that they will probably use a 23 guage needle and that is pretty small. Buck up and face it like a man. I give myself insulin 7 times a day and each involves a needle so after awhile you don't dread them so much.

Funny I have DMS, my body will not stop creating insulin. Isn't funny how two different people can have exact opposite conditions. Just to be funny my wife has the same problem as I do.

It's settled I'm gonna do both A & B. Thanks for your input.

The job is done sort of. Went in the Doc took one look at my knees and said that we can't do anything to your hip until we fix your left knee, your entire left leg is larger than your right. So it all started with tapping and draining the left knee then a steroid shot to the same. Your knee hold about 2cc of fluid he removed about 50cc. Then we were on to the hip where we got another steroid shot and that's it right, nope yet. Now I have damage to a nerve in in my back messing with my leg muscles, and now I have to go to a specialist for that. And to top it all off I now have to have knee surgery.
So how was your day.
