87 Comanche Chief. Have not done anything with one yet. 90k original miles. Needs transmission.

I also have a 1989 LWB factory 2wd with 4 cylinder. Drivetrain from 92 XJ is going to find its way into this one.

I have a 2nd one lined up all ready :) its a 2wd 4 popper, it will be a 4L 4wd when I am done ;) well once I finish this one,..

Either one works for me. We just put up about 15 pints of home grown jalepenos.

Seriously though, there are deals to be had here on rigs that won't smog. That one is a good example. It can probably be had in a couple of months for next to nothing and almost make a trip from Texas worth it.

The picture of the above truck..

It had bad hit in the rear driverside quarter. If you look you can see the bondo. It was smeared on almost an inch thick in places with a piece of crap sheetmetal someone brazed to the rest of the box. Found a pretty nice box off a Missori truck at a local yard.. Hopefully it will be :driving: this summer!

Runs awesome but is currently getting all new brake lines and waiting on a new fuel tank coming outa nebraska. This is number 4!

I had a green 4.0 one at a company I worked at years ago. That truck moved with the 4.0 in it.

MJ are awesome...My BIL has one that is built up nicely (would post some pics of it but don't have any on my work computer). Its amazing how awesome the thing wheels.

Anyone let me know what trouble spots to look for on these. Needing a truck with a bed, a Cherokee wouldn't cut it.
