Still a couple of things to do to it, the exhaust isnt far away from a little mod, and Im trying to hunt some 4.10's (or 4.09 or 4.11... whatever) for it too, thems tyres just suck the guts outa 2nd gear.

My wife has the WJ, but I don't know if I want an XJ or ZJ to replace the ZJ I sold. I'd like something not quite as clean so I can mod it and take it off road. I'm partial to ZJ's though. I hate leaf springs.

Works perfectly then... you can pick up a decent shape XJ, and grab a nice lift kit from Rock Krawler or TnT that has the rear coil conversion... then you get the awesome rig of an XJ.. and the coils in the rear.. LOL

Made a few changes this past few months. Took off home grown 3 inch lift and put on a Rough Country 4 inch lift. Rides and handles better than when I first got it. Here is a few pics:

When I need new tires I think I will go with either 32x1150 or 33x1050. I haven't decided. I like the 31x1050 that I have on there now,they do great in rain and snow.

I think when the weather warms up I'm gonna paint the grille black. I also need to install my 4 inch longer stainless braided brake lines and my front and rear diff. skids.

Instead of painting my chrome grille black I found a new one already black for 45.00. I'm not sure if I like it or not, I think it will grow on me. If not then I might paint it to match the rest of the Jeep or I can put the chrome one back in.

I repainted my already black grille on my green XJ... I like the way it looks personally.. I am also not a fan of Chrome either.. so that just makes it that much easier to stick with my black grille

Why'd you decide to sell the MT's?? Going to go with AT for the next set, or just wanted to go back to stock rims?? Glad to hear that the Grand is doing well and still providing joyous service!!

Guy offered me a good price and I let them go. I really didn't like them sticking out from the fenders and the mud tires were over kill. Yea next set will be more ATs

Wow been 5 years since i posted here. Had to rebuild transmission in mine after the radiator decided to add coolant to the trans via the cooler. Other than that its just been maintenance on both Grands.

Jeeps do last. We complain about always working on our Jeeps, but I have to work on our other cars too :D
