This might be a long shot posting this on here, but maybe someone knows someone that just might want this.

This is a 1971 International semi truck with a 32' single drop deck trailer, 290 cummins, 10 speed, and jake brake.

You never say what you are asking. Is it running. What condition is it in. How are the tires and such. Is it currently roadworthy?

Asking best offer

Runs excellent and has a rebuilt motor.

Transmission has never had any problems.

It is in fair condition.

Needs one tire but the rest have very good rubber.

Not really roadworthy (Needs a little TLC).

Lights quit working going down the road so has been parked for almost a year.

I take that back, I was still running it around the farm with the lights not working, it was when I ran it across a big chunk of metal and blew the tire that it got parked.

Does have cab air leak
Needs ignition switch
needs a stack
(I was running it around even with these small problems)

I ask b/c my neighbor is a truck driver and wants his own truck. They are hauling gravel and sand from the pit to all kinds of construction projects. He needs one that he can fly out to it and drive it back here to Tx. Guess that one is not for him. Thanks !!!

Not a problem Blue, thanks for asking about it!

With a replacement tire it is a good farm truck as is
I used it to haul 20+ tons of hay, or 40,000+ lbs at a time

Thanks, I will mention it to him. What would be a reasonable offer, I have never bought a 71 IH tractor trailer!!

For what the truck is and how nice it pulled the trailer, I think $4800 would be a good offer.

I saw one on line that was a 71 also and they were asking $3800 with no trailer.

I think Melissa would make a great long haul trucker.

Damn I wish I had $4800!

If you had told Spanky about that before he moved he would have bought it from you and moved his house and shop in one go.

Ya know I have been back and forth on selling this truck. It is not costing me any money sitting where it is and it has been an awesome hay hauler, but I keep thinking that it is going to waste sitting without being used and I don't have a use for it right now.
It won't fit down the alley to where the hay is currently stacked so I just never have gotten the tire replaced.

Nice sexy old suicide cab....If you added another axle to the tractor it would almost be the twin of the one my granddad taught me to drive in....

I wish it was a double axle instead of a single, but I'm not complaining, it has served me very well :)
