ok who wants to wheel. im willing to go but whos all going to go i know some of you have plans we can call bvorr or go to sams or creekside or ???? give me some ldeas.we have been invited to go on a beach run with shr but if some of you want to go on a run im game. if its somewere long haul ill put mine on a trailer and if someone breaks we can put yours on and get it home :thumbsup:so post up were and when :patriot:

I am planning on going to Barnwell on the weekend of the 30th, if anyone else is interested, though. I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll make a new one as the time gets closer.

I will putting mine in the shop this thursday to get the tans leak fixed. I'll let you know after I get it out and how much cash I have left over. Have a lot of family coming over Sunday the 4th so I have a cash situation with food :-) I love to over do it!!!

we are going to san luis on sunday the 4th. does creekside allow jeeps, didnt see any on site. the brazos valley place looks pretty cool.

I'm thinking it might be a bad weekend to go wheeling. I've been at spring creek in the rain and the top mud layer can cause inexperienced drivers to run into you and trees not to mention some people slide down hills.... Alright so I was new to mudding and didn't know better about the slight slops and that your vehicle can slowly slide down them while your parked :rotfl2: it was a funny site though!! And no I never did it again :headshake:

ok its the day after tomorrow whos all going :D its looking like creekside ive had 2 or 3 people say there up for there. i can tell you that there has NOT been a lot of rain out there so it should be ok for all rigs :thumbsup: im thinking meet at the flying j on 242 and 59 about 10am post up or pm me or text or call me if you have my number :thumbsup:

Wow lots of rain, are you still going out there? If so we better check to make sure they are going to be open. Might want to bring a sack lunch so we have something to eat when we are all stuck trying to pull each other out of the mud. :smiley-laughing021:

Well I got the new tie rod installed and the tie rod ends. Also fininished the quick disconnect installation. Everthing went smooth as silk.

I had a problem with the RPM's high and missing with the engine this morning and got worse this evening. I figured the TPS went out again. It's happened before about 4 years ago.

So I hooked up the OBD II scanner and yep P0122 low voltage Thottle Position Sensor.

I went to the autoparts and picked up a new sensor, installed it. Cleared the code, test drove it, and "CHECK ENGINE" along with the missing and the transmission not wanting to shift into 2nd.

Came up here and looked up the code. Maybe a wire grounding out, but I looked around and I didn't see anything.

Bottom line I'm out tomorrow.

Ok I fixed the problem, at least I believe I did. I'm going to try and make it out, but I'm not sure I can get their to the meeting place by 10am. I need to see how many hours it is from Katy to Splendora.

Okay it's 56 miles and Google says 1 hour and 10 minutes. So I'll try to leave about 8:45.

Rene you should have my cell number from the other day, I'll PM you just in case. I think I still have yours. I probably won't get up until 8 AM.

I'm still not 100% convinced I have fixed the problem, but a 100 mile round trip should let me know. :patriot:

I got the jeep back and only one leak left! and a front alignment is all I have left on the major long distance runs!!

Maybe if you gave yours a bath occasionally it wouldn't be sitting in the shop when the 3 of us went this past Saturday and you would have been in THESE videos.

That is true. But in my defense She has had the leak for 4 years but she sat for over 2 in a garage and never touched and used for storage. And considering that she is acting pretty happy :-) so I did something right hehehe

I'd like to see some pictures of the new rig you are working on. Like an idiot I stood there watching you get pulled out and I didn't take any pictures or video of it. That is one wild looking XJ.

It's pretty funny I've been wheeling twice in my XJ now, and you were there both times. Last time was at Spring Creek right before they shut it down.

Try and make it to Saturdays meet and greet. Even if your driving something else. The bigger the group the more attention we will have and the more people will want to get out and look at our rigs and tell others.

Plus it's been over three years since I've seen your jeep, green was it? and not running very well, had a knock or spuddering to it......

Then there was another guy at the creek that had a XJ that color, but I remember you. I'm the red head in the white cherokee that helped out at the 4th annual off road comp. I talked to hotsauce with his little pickup, and rolland and the gang all the time.
