I've seen other jeep forums with people wanting to import parts from china to make their XJ's look more like the jeep 2500. It's not something I would do. but i would be curious to the reaction from people here in the U.S. http://i689.photobucket.com/albums/vv254/hatchetman0170/Chinajeep.jpg

Front grill and lights are just plain ugly to me. Sorry.

I lived in China for a number of years teaching University. The engine technology in the vehicles produced there at this time is from the 1990s.

I can see the appeal that it may have for some people. Not me. I remember seeing a vehicle approach me while I was driving. I noticed it was a Jeep, and then it dawned on my that I had seen this type of grill and headlights before from the China Cherokee. It was a Grand Cherokee. lol no thanks!

It is not that great to spend all that money getting the parts.

You could probably buy that jeep at walmart and it would malfunction within a week (if you were lucky).

X2... The 4.0L H.O. that Jeep uses in China and the Diesel Jeep uses in Europe are both superior to the V6 Jeep is using here in the U.S. in their New Models. That V6 makes me want to P*ke !!! No low end torque !!! Too high revving to get any horsepower it has to offer.

BTW, Jeep in China is owned by Chrysler here in the U.S.A.

I kinda like it, it's just different. I wouldn't import all the parts for it though.
