I'm guessing you've been before, but for those of us that have not, what were your impressions of the park?

More pics are coming, and hopefully we can find the two jeeps we ran with so we can get their pics as well. I have a few more vids to post up, but I need to work them over since I held my phone the wrong way when taking almost all the vids, must of been the excitement of actually been able to driver her out there and back in one piece. Except the tran leak cropping back up it all went well!

90% of the park is dirt trails with mud/water holes here and there(some have a ton of mud and others just a tad) and 10% was the hill climb area, that goes from easy to challenging, to not passable with anything other them heavily modified.

Hey guys, it was nice meeting up with ya and tool'n around Gen Sams. Kind of a odd way to meet.....ya know, pulling you out of a mud trap and all :smiley-laughing021: Just kidding. It's all good, mud and wenches was the name of the game there. I wouldn't expect anything less if we got stuck anywhere. :smiley-gen165:

I'm working on getting the vids up on Youtube, I'll post them as soon as I do.

Here is a distant one of the green jeep and a closer one of the blue.
I was on the wrong side of the mud for the green jeep making his run.

I have more vids, but I need to rotate them and crop and unfortunately I do not have a good vid editor here so I'll get one from work tomorrow.

The blue Jeep is my buddy's, we use to call it "Bubba J-eep" (like Jeff Dunham Bubba J) but since he painted it blue (use to be black) we .....I call it Papa Smurf. :smiley-laughing021:

That's why we had the Smurf song playing when he was wheel'n that one spot. :D

We have a sister site that needs a little life injected in it. It is called WranglerTalk.com Just like this site but without any visitors! :smiley-laughing021: It's called WranglerTalk, but CJs are more than welcome, just like everyone is welcome here. We have a few good people over there and two with some very modified rigs, just very few posts. I'm hoping to get a TJ in the next couple of years to go along with the XJ so I started that site about a year ago.

Ex-wife had a TJ. It was fun to play with (the TJ that is ;) ) just didn't get to agressive with it, didn't want to scratch it. That's where the CJ came in. They are cheap and the parts are plentyful. When I get some time, I'll swing over there and harrass everyone. :)

It was a good time. Wheeling is fun in itself but when you meet up with some really cool people in BIGGER rigs you not only have a day of wheeling, but also a good time watching someone wheel more extreme stuff. And Again thanks to Smurf and Shrek HAHAHA for letting us tag along!!!

I used to have a CJ. I finally just broke it in half. Sure was a lot of fun though. For the time period, it was well set up. Built to the hilt 225 V6, D44 front with power lock, Chevy power steering, custom pitman arm, (2 1/4 turns lock to lock), D 44 rear with full floater axles and beefed up power lock, T15 tranny out of a newer CJ, D20 tcase with custom twin stick conversion, (I could shift each axle independently even better than my Atlas) full cage, custom seats, and custom suspension and 32" tires which was as good as it got then.

Great. Maybe we can get you to come out to the next meet and greet. I'd love to have a look at your Jeep. Well I'm assuming it is still street legal.

:poke: not exactly street legal. It doesn't even have a windshield to put the reg and state stickers... :smiley-laughing021:

But, if the weekend is right, I'll meet up with ya out on the trails. Just gotta plan when and where. The Smurf and I are tentatively wanting to go to Barnwell the weekend of July 30th. I'll keep ya posted as we get closer.
