That's a good price. I think I paid that much at Sam's Club for my Red Top.

Same part number?

Some people buy the 8022-091 "thinking" they are getting the bigger one with more CCA.

It's my first Optima battery. I thought a Red Top was a Red Top. I thought having the battery delivered to your house for the same price was a hell of a deal. Maybe its even a better deal!

You are not the 1st to think redtop=redtop. Buyer beware. Shame on Optima for confusing customers. I think the smaller CCA red top should become a pinktop so as to save people from the confusion. :smiley-laughing021:

If you sent me a pic of the side terminals I could tell you which one you go. :D

Amazing I had a 50/50 chance and dumb luck won!

I've been meaning to look up what I need to hook up those side posts. (prob just bolts) I wanted to hook up some of those other wires there. I know now not to hook up the winch there. Although I think I'd rather have them on top anyway, free of touching anything (but the hood).

Bolts would work if they are SHORT. Those are GM side posts "technically" so look that up.

They make lots of attachments for those side posts. They are very useful IMO.

I put the main wiring on the side:

Then run the winch and accessories from the top posts.

How long are you gonna run this sale. I can't find a decent price from any of my distributors on these. So I am willing to give my money to another offroad performance shop.
