Wasn't sure If I should put this here or in the general talk forum, but I figured this was more fitting.
So we've had this small boat for almost 2 years. I was planning on getting rid of the boat and fixing the trailer to haul stuff around but my wife didn't want to get rid of it. So we had another utility trailer made out of some spare parts my dad had laying around. Anyway we've never taken the boat out anywhere and recently we started to go fishing in some nearby lakes and saw other people with their boats having fun and fishing deeper in the lake. So I started calling places to find out what I needed to be legal for use in TX and NM. turns out since it is only 12' long and only uses paddles all I need is to register the trailer. Now I just gotta make time to take it out to a nice lake. this is the boat. It's a 1970 gamefisher 12.

I just have to make sure it won't sink.
Anybody else have a boat?
or any good fishing stories.
