Xj exhaust (muffler specs)

Guys, does anyone know where I can find out the specs and measurements for what muffler will fit my OEM exhaust system (2000 XJ 4.0L). It seems to be harder than it should be. I want to buy one on craig's list for a good deal.

Yea it's a pain. I looked up part #s that will fit from different brands, went to those manufacturer websites and they either didn't give spec/measurements or just the one I needed was missing frm the list.
