Yes there is. 100 posts. You should be able to view chatbox with fewer than 100 posts. Also once you hit 100 posts it may take up to an hour before the system promotes you to a level that you can type messages into chatbox.

We added a fabrication section yesterday that also requires 100 posts.

I don't like twisting people's arms to post, but you know how your wife/girlfriend always tries to make you talk? Same thing here. When you express yourself good things happen! Well usually. :thumbsup: :smiley-laughing021:

Letter me check the settings. They are different for each user group and I may not have the vendor user group set correctly.

BTW one, perhaps more, sections DO NOT count towards your over all post count. It's not meant to be a secrete I just forget. The "New Member Introductions" DO NOT count towards your post count.

We had one person go back months welcoming people to get his/her 100 posts. So we turned it off on that section.

Please keep in mind that the moderators have full control to delete superficial messages, or merge multiple messages that clearly were separated to pad the post count.

Come on guys you know why we want posts here. Same reason you want to come to a forum, to read helpful, interesting, or funny stuff. Participate in this and you'll get back more than what you put in to it.
