View Full Version : What would you say to a spammer?

I've been thinking about doing this for a while now. Don't you just HATE spam? You know unsolicited e-mail trying to sell you something, or steal your money?

Sometimes I'll respond to their e-mail and tell them what they can do with their product, etc... I never send it because I know that in the world of "spammers never lose" if you send them an e-mail they KNOW they reached a valid e-mail address. If you don't buy their product they can still make some money selling your e-mail address so that OTHER spammers can use it.

Still it would be nice to be able to tell those A$$HOLES what I think of them. So here's my chance and yours.

This isn't the worse spam e-mail I have received, but it's a good one. Another lame a$$ attempt to bilk money from some poor slob.

Well you may have noticed that in the subject is "[SPAM]" This is put there by the spam detection software I have running on the server. When Outlook "sees" that it moves it to a folder named SPAM. Then I review it to verify that it really is spam. I have it where about it is about 95% accurate. I usually just scan the folder and delete all the e-mails at once.

Also I report the spam to SpamSource which my servers use to filter out the spam before it even is allowed on my e-mail server.

I get my email through Apple, who has a very aggressive spam filter. If something comes in that I mark spam, it never shows up again. My spam is automatically deleted daily.

I would just like to walk up to one of them and bounce a can of Spam (the potted so called meat) off of their heads and say "You've been spammed bi-atch!!"

I get them on the phone once in awhile. I just start asking them for the same type of stuff they want from me. They hang up in a hurry.

I had an acquaintance in OR that was bold as brass. She got the proverbial porn phone call. She said stuff like: "no I don't like it that way, I like it such and such a way. No, No, to tame for me" Pretty soon the caller had to hang up. Couldn't handle it.

rofl This is great! Now the scam is they make you believe that you are getting money because of the spam you have been injured by!

This probably works on {deleted} since most of them seem to believe that money falls from heaven like manna.

The stupid ****ers are pissing me off. They think they can tell me that my mailbox setting has changed. WELL FU because I am the administrator for this domain you ****ing idiot!

Why in the hell would I need to attach a ZIP file to an e-mail with instructions for updating SMTP and POP3 servers? And even if I did why the HELL would I have a link to a site other than the same domain that I was claiming to control?
