Anyone have any recommendations for 4.0L plug wires? I know the Champion plugs work best so I thought there might be some "magical" plug wire brand.

At 150k I've had two sets of plug wires. The OEM and these $30 plug wires I got from Advanced Auto a couple of years ago. Now I'm getting a misfire on cylinder #5. I'm thinking of replacing the plug wires again, but would rather not guess at what's a good brand to use.

I am running MSD Super Conductor plug wires, I don't know much about them, but they are holding up really well and I am very happy with them. I think I paid $60 for the set last year.

I agree mith Melissa.. You already have some great equipment under your hood so you might consider a great plug wire like MSD. I think with plug wire's that if you position them well, and use the boot protectant, and don't pull on them the wrong way when removing them, they will last a good while. I found that Napa Auto Part's have a very good stock Ignition Coil for these xj's. much better than Auto-Zone, and more costly but worth it.

Taylor wires is what I use. Got them through Summit Racing. Never had a misfire since changing wires. Can't remember the cost though, been too many months ago.

Blue as well. I like the formed angle head so you have something to grab to remove them from the plug when needed.
