Ign. Coil's Keep Failing?

Hey Jeeper's anybody kmow why my Ign. Coil's keep going out.? And where is the power source coming from to power up the ign. coil.?

The power source comes from the ignition switch. Two things can happen. Cheap coils or heat. You might need to relocate the coil. I had to do this on a couple of my 4X4s

So 4.3 XJ.. I can move it oner to the fender and use a longer spark plug wire. Or where should i move to?

Fender is the usual place with a longer coil wire

i had like 3 or 4 go out in a row. havent had much of a prob in a while but i am thinkin it was heat causin them. sometime once they cooled down they would work again sometimes they wouldnt

Being a former ford man, that was always a problem with a coil in the valley on a V8. I finally moved mine and had no more problems.
