When we must choose between our two cars :driving:we speak about "de Toyota" or "de Cherok" ("de" is dutch for "the").
So our XJ is "the Cherok".

What name do you use for your XJ?

Mine is called "Babe the Blue OX" but I have been unsucessful in getting it to come to me when called. Even my cats are smart enough to know their names, and most come when called but not "Babe".

I always whistle for Lil Red. But he never comes.

If I say, "STAY!"...He listens

I don't ever want to find out if he will listen to ROLLOVER.

I wish I would have had a camera while I was in town today.

I was at the post office and parked next to a............ I guessed a 96+ cherokee that had just been bought (Had the temp tag in the window) A little cute old lady that was 86(she told me that ) had just bought it because she wanted a small 4x4 for the winters here, I asked her what she named her jeep and she told me "tiny tim" She was so cute as she drove away, she could hardly see over the steering wheel. Just thought it was cute, so I'd thought I'd share.

Perhaps I'm the only one that would notice this, since I am concerned with this boards success, but I failed to see in your story where you told this new XJ owner about a great NEW website she could visit. :mad0090:

At 86 I doubt she owns a computer or knows what a website is Muddy.

And yes each of my cats knows their names and all but a couple will come when called. The ones who won't come take a message and get back to me later. None know how to use a computer either. I have tried to teach them but they have no interest.

My bad for not saying it before, I did mention it because she asked what a XJ was (From reading your xjtalk sticker)

Pretty much what Blue said was her response.
Said she can't even figure out how to run her cell phone that her daughter insisted she carry.

My Mom is 86, 87 next month, and she's had a computer since the time that 20mb hard drives were huge!

My grandma at 87 can run a computer great, but then again she lives in the big city of Seattle, WA.

I think living in the country has alot to do with not knowing much about computers, take me for example, I did not have a computer until less than 10 years ago, and I still don't know squat about it.
