and I bought them for repair

http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/ab180/od_999/my%20xj/IMG_4360.jpg

will it work or I'm just stupid, which thinks this kind of paste will work?

As advertised, this one is from USA.

I ran mine cracked for years and years. Here is the eventual outcome...

As you can probably tell, I replaced mine.

this one is very expensive, ~ 215$ here (http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/WC/2226-01068973.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_term=1991-1999+Jeep+Cherokee+Exhaust+Manifold+Dorman+91-99+Jeep+Exhaust+Manifold&utm_content=YN&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Base) + shipping to Mongolia, :( :( :(

I found Renix 4.0 engine from '90 XJ in my friends garage, is it fit to my 4.0 H.O?

If/when you do replace the header, think about wrapping it. I wish I had done that to mine before I installed it. Helps keep the heat out of the engine bay.

Let us know if it works... mine is cracked in the EXACT same spot and you cannot get a weld on it at all Ive had a few qualified welders make attempts hoping they would screw something up big and then have to pay for a whole new header on THEIR dime

downside to wrapping is it also speeds up the rust process, or so im told. i thought bout doing this with my header but asked around first and the only people that werent complaining bout rust issues were the street jeep guys

as for the OP i wouldnt expect much out of it ive tried all sorts of that exhaust glue, sealer or whatever ya wanna call it and ive found it lasts about a week and cracks off, and this was on places that ran much cooler then those manifolds.

I honestly don't think any kind of glue will work on a manifold I have tried welding them for people and have a couple last but normally they crack near where the repair was done. I have had good luck with headers as far as lasting longer than the factory style headers but to me its all about price. As far as I can tell from my books here the renix will not work on yours port size is diffrent.

i have tried sim products none worked. from what i hear and read all manis will interchange just make sure you use the gasket for your head.

The headers and manifolds do interchange but not well. If you use a manifold it will cover up a 1/4" of your exhaust port on the head. I know because I just put a 1996 motor in my 2000 jeep and will have to have a down pipe made so I can use the header. I have the manifold on temporarily and you can tell it is restricting flow substantially.

The infamous APN header is much cheaper than that dorman, http://www.ineedparts.com/auto-parts/exhaust-parts/exhaust-manifolds/jeep-exhaust-manifold.html

I run one and have no complaints. no clue if they ship to mongolia.

Yesterday tried to use epoxy. Hard to reach without dismantling, but successful.
As instructed in packaging
- cleaned surface and
- evenly applied this gray thing.
- wait for 3-4 hours for polymerization (4 hours) - looks good in shape and seems already hardened
- and heat up to normal temperature.
- bubbles appear - sign of not fully hardened

Here is the result.

There were crack, I think it because thickness (instruction was 6mm) of epoxy.

Next time will use 2x2 mm mesh as armature and apply again.
