More Cargo Space

Still unsure if this was the right section to post my thread, but here it is anyways.

I have been racking my brain as to what I could do to get more temporary cargo space until I could afford either a safari rack or a spare tire carrier. Well I ran across this car top carrier on CL and decided that it was just what I could use until I had the money for what I really wanted. I ended up paying $50.00 for it, what do you all think? Was it a good investment, or are you all laughing at me :D

Yeah I had one of those before I had the Surco. It carried Christmas presents halfway across the country twice and never leaked. I paid way more for mine so I think you got a great deal. Don't know how I would carry anything like that now so maybe you are better with that than a roof rack.

I still want to remove my spare all together, but at least now I don't have to do it right away.
